New Study Reveals Friday Nights Pose Highest Risk for Bromley Motorists

If you’re planning on being on the road in Bromley between 5-6pm on a Friday evening, you may want to use extra caution, as new research completed by Whites Traffic Management revealed that this was statistically the most likely time for road traffic accidents across the borough.

The most common month for collisions? November, a month notorious for fog, dark nights, and inclement weather.

The figures, based on over 10 years of the Department for Transport’s road safety statistics, indicate that drivers are more likely to experience collisions in Bromley on a weekday, with Friday topping the list. Bromley residents and visitors should take extra care during these times to ensure smooth and safe transport across the borough.

In contrast, the least likely day across Bromley for crashes is a Sunday, and fewest collisions happened between 4-5am, compared to the rest of the day.

The data also revealed that the peak time and day for road traffic accidents across all of London was also Friday evenings, with October being the most collision-heavy month when taking all boroughs into account.
