Football fever has swept the nation for the last month, with the UEFA European Championships taking place in Germany.
Now, as Southgate’s squad prepare to face the Spanish side in the final on July 14, finding the top spot to watch the game will be a high priority for Three Lions fans.
South London has been named as one of the top spots to watch the game by City Search.
The online city guide used data from the Land Registry and ONS to research the capital’s liveliest pubs and bars, community football clubs, sprawling parks, and top-notch sports facilities.
Bromley was cited as the London borough with the most pubs for watching football this summer, specifically, Bromley’s High Street, Market Square and East Street which are filled with numerous screens, bars and a vibrant atmosphere.
Greenwich came close behind in second place, with Greenwich Market, Cutty Sark, Greenwich High Road and the O2 arena complex cited as particular hotspots for fans.
Another South London neighbourhood, Battersea, also made the cut with the vibrant atmosphere and energetic vibe of Northcote Road and Battersea Square noted as prime spots for enjoying a match alongside fellow fans.
For those wanting something more relaxed, Dulwich came in fifth place. City Search identified Lordship Lane, the area’s main thoroughfare, as a lively yet relaxed setting lined with a broad mixture of pubs and bars.
Hackney and Camden were also featured in the list, promising trendy options for fans as well as an exciting nightlife for anyone looking to stay out after the game.
