Police have confirmed that a man has been shot dead in Penge.
Officers were called by the London Ambulance Service at around 2.20am on Sunday, July 12 to a man collapsed in Croydon Road, Penge near the junction with Tremaine Road.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Enquiries are underway to confirm his identity and inform next of kin.
While the post-mortem examination has not taken place police ‘believe the man died from gunshot injuries’.
Detectives from Specialist Crime are investigating and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A crime scene remains in place in Croydon Road and a full forensic examination is ongoing.
A MyLondon reader got in touch to say that a nearby park, Betts Park, is closed.
