Ruthie Henshall from Bromley has shared some amazing stories about her times dating Prince Edward on I’m A Celebrity.
Chatting to fellow camper, EastEnders star Shane Richie, on Friday night’s episode (November 20), she definitely raised a few eyes brows when she spoke about having sex at Buckingham Palace.
She said: “You performed in Buckingham Palace, you sang in the gardens, I sh****d in the bedrooms.”
Ruthie, 53, dated Prince Edward, 56, on and off for five years during the nineties.
Describing him on the show, she said: “It’s funny, it’s such a long time ago.. [he’s a] Lovely bloke. And I genuinely fell in love with him.”

So she has loads of stories about her time spent with the royal family, some of which she divulged to Shane.
One time she was invited to Windsor Castle for the weekend, and when she was sitting around a table outside she said she was sure she saw the Queen.
She said: “There’s people sitting round it and I’m thinking that looks like the Queen and I remembered my dad had said to me that if you ever meet the Queen he said you curtsy and call her ma’am.
“I grab her hand like this [handshake], forget all about the curtsy and I’m like really really pleased to meet you, really pleased to meet you.”
Ruthie also described the time she got drunk on martinis at Balmoral in Scotland. She’d never drunk them before and said Prince Charles gave her the first one she’d ever had.
“I’d never tried it before so I was fairly… I had two of them and I was like woah…”
“Let me tell you. Margaret she goes ‘yes, yes, oh sing us a song from that show you’re in’ and I was in Les Mis at the time. So I sang I Dreamed A Dream and I must have changed key three times because I was so p****d on martinis.”
So she has also performed drunk in front of some of the royals.
She also met Princess Diana while she was at Balmoral, and described her as “lovely”.
When Shane asked how she met the Prince, Ruthie said it was because he was a production assistant at Andrew Lloyd Webber’s.
“He then called me himself [Andrew] and he wanted me to play the lead in A Star Is Born. And Edward was my point of contact,” she explained.
“He was the one who’d call me up and say you’re rehearsing at 2 o’clock or whatever. And he said to me would you like to come to mine and watch the film of A Star Is Born with me and you can have some dinner. I was like what, at the Palace, is that where you live?”
Shane replied: “Is that what he meant? God that is so weird. Watching A Star Is Born with Prince Edward.”
Later he joked that while her first date was to Buckingham Palace, his was to Little Chef.
Ruthie is still friends with the Prince, and attended his wedding to Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
