A care home in Orpington is inviting the local community to get into the festive spirit at its very own Christmas fete.

On Saturday 7^th December, from 3pm-5pm, Care UK’s Foxbridge House, on Sevenoaks Road, is welcoming members of the community to join residents and team to kick-start the festive season with a special market ‘yule’ not want to miss.

Guests will be able to play a host of fun games including spin the wheel, and everyone is invited to join in a festive sing-along.

Santa will also be making a special appearance at the home’s very own Christmas grotto, and there’ll be a variety of refreshments including everyone’s favourite Christmas treats, mince pies and mulled wine.

Stella Barnes, Home Manager at Foxbridge House, said: “Here at Foxbridge House, we’re already getting our Christmas jumpers on and counting down until the big day – which is why we’re excited to be kicking off the festivities with our very own Christmas fete.

“We strive to play an active role in our community, and we’re delighted to be opening the doors to our neighbours to enjoy the festivities together. Residents are busy practising their favourite Christmas songs to sing, and the event will be a wonderful opportunity for everyone to reminisce over Christmas memories, share stories and meet new people.
