A Bromley-based entrepreneur who has just launched his products in Tesco will be sharing the secrets of his success at Beckenham Business Association Day on November 6.
Adam Womersley sold his home to develop a range of healthy, plant-based milks for children and was helped on the way by the Business Start-Up service at Bromley Central Library, winning their £2,000 prize for his vision along the way.
Repaying the favour, he will be representing Start-Up Bromley at Beckenham Business Association Day, giving a talk on the challenges of starting your own enterprise and offering tips on how to stay positive.
Adam was a regular user of Start-Up Bromley’s business lounge for meetings and everyday working and also took part in workshops on topics such as social media and raising finance.
“We’ve got these amazing business resources on our doorstep but not everyone knows about them,” he comments. “The workshop on ‘Lean Canvas’ was especially helpful – this is a way of condensing a complex business-plan onto a single piece of paper. The quarterly mentoring sessions were also fantastic.”
